Q: Why do you use measurements in grams for some of your ingredients?
A: Over time I have learned that in order to duplicate a recipe with great success, I have better results weighing my ingredients. For example, too often I have measured flour rather than weighing it and the final product has turned out differently. Often this occurs because there are many ways to measure flour and lots of room for error. To perfect your baking results, I recommend you invest in a kitchen scale to weigh your ingredients. Through my own trial and error I have found this to help tremendously. Looking back, I am amazed I survived without a kitchen scale for so long!
Q: Do you calculate the nutritional information for your recipes?
A: At this time I do not offer nutritional information for my recipes. A great site that will do this for you is MyFitnessPal.
Q: How can I achieve the best results when following your recipes?
A: Investing in an oven thermometer is a must! I learned the hard way! Also, resist opening the oven while something is baking as I’ve found the temperature drops quickly.
